Kenyatta International Conference Centre

Why is this building interesting? Adapting local hut concepts to a contemporary context, the KICC is both aesthetically pleasing and uniquely Kenyan. It is designed by Karl Henrik Nøstvik.

Why is this building interesting?: African Heritage House reflects the usage of traditional African materials such mud and thatch, constructed in new and innovate ways. It was conceptualized by Alan Donovan and designed in collaboration with David Bristow.
