Everyone
who has in interest in Nairobi’s development and its architectural heritage can
contribute to this list. Everyone’s opinions and contributions count.
We
are soliciting suggestions or votes for buildings for this list from
development and design professionals, as well as the general public. To
contribute your suggestions of buildings for this list, simply complete a brief
survey by clicking here.
This
listing does not come with any sanctions or regulations as to how a building is
used in the future. It mainly bestows upon the building’s owner and designer
recognition that the citizens of Nairobi consider their building to be of value
to them, and that the building is in its way defining of Nairobi. With this
recognition comes an implicit request that the building’s owner does what they
can to preserve it. But this is not an obligation.
